Natural Foods to Feed Your Cat

If you have a pet, it definitely means you love the cute little creature dearly. As such, it’s your responsibility to ensure that you keep the pet as healthy as possible. One way of doing this is through giving your pet great food (in its natural form if possible). For those who do not know the type of natural foods to give to their pets in this instance cats, you need not worry anymore as we have you covered. Below, we share with you the top natural foods that you can use to feed your cat. You will need a few dollars to buy some of these foods hence why we advise that you play profitable games, these games you can find them here.

High-Quality Meat

Felines spend most of their time running around and as such, they use high energy levels. In order to replenish these levels, it’s important that you feed your cat with high-quality meat. If you are feeding your cat kibbles, then you need not worry about giving it additional high-quality meat. However, if the food that your cat eats does not come in the form of kibbles, then you will need to feed your cat with some ‘real’ meat from the butchery. Don’t give the cat raw meat as it may come with bad bacteria, rather, cook it slightly (at least 10 percent) so that you kill the bad bacteria.

Spinach

Spinach is not only a good food for you but its also great for your cat (albeit if it does not have any kidney problems). Spinach is low in calories and high in fibre meaning that your cat will replenish its energy without feeling very full when it consumes spinach. In addition to this, spinach is high in glycoglycerolipids. Glycoglycerolipids help in maintaining a healthier digestive system for your cat. Note that we have stated that spinach is not good for your cat if it has a kidney problem. This is so because spinach contains calcium oxalate which may cause the formation of crystals in the urinary tract.

Eggs

We have stated above that a cat uses lots of energy each day and as such, there is a need to replenish the lost energy levels. One way of doing this is through feeding your cat with eggs! Yes, eggs are not just great for your own body but also for your cat. Eggs are high in proteins hence why they are a good food for your cat. Note that you can feed your cat with egg whites only because the yokes are high in cholesterol and fat hence you may end up owning an obese cat!

Watermelon

Any food that is not just great for you but for your cat also is a watermelon. All types of watermelons are very rich in Vitamin A and C. these two nutrients are great in boosting the immune system. If your cat is kind of lazy in drinking liquids (as is the case with many), you can first freeze the melon before you feed it to the cat.
